Survey Design: How To Write A Survey

This is a very special Complementary Weekly Call from Marketing Online on Google Hangouts. We have a new guest on the show, Ryan Levesque… The “Survey Funnel” Guy. We’re talking about how to write a survey, customer surveys, survey design and Ryan Levesque’s own personal survey question examples. Ryan Levesque coined his web survey, the “Survey Funnel” as a method to first survey your audience and find out which segment of your target audience that they actually fit into. Through trial and error using traditional forms of common practice online marketing techniques Ryan Levesque failed and realized there must be a better way to make sales online. Enter, customer surveys.
How To Write A Survey
“Out of desperation” Ryan asks his list in an email… “Why didn’t you buy?” What he and his wife uncovered was that the audience was really segmented into 5 personas and each segment or persona “character” that they were trying to sell to had different: wants, needs and desires in the next product that they purchase. The feedback Ryan Levesque had received from his audience in the customer surveys was enough to edge him into always developing a customer survey by creating sample survey questions (which we’re going to share with you later in the post) and then surveying before making the product…

Furthermore… Ryan Levesque has made it a practice to always build his funnels based on what the results are from the customer surveys. Whereby people may not be lead down the same journey to the same product. They may each be looking for something different and so that is the case of which segment they are in and what offer best suits their needs to buy or take action into the planned customer journey that was created based on the survey results. You’re funnels can produce better results by surveying the audience, next identifying the needs and which segments those individuals fall into and finally making the changes to your funnel and the offers to suit the needs and wants determined for each segment. Every master was a disaster and they have all come from failure in order to succeed. Learn from their mistakes and apply the solutions to your business to avoid running in the same yourself. It is far less costly, both in terms of time and money, to learn from someone else’s mistakes.
